About From Ashes to New

Formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2013 by founder, rapper, vocalist and programmer Matt Brandyberry, From Ashes to New built its identity by turning anxiety, adversity and self-doubt into songs about redemption, resilience and personal liberation. The band broke through with “Through It All” and expanded its audience through albums including Day One, The Future, Panic and Blackout.

From Ashes to New’s musical style blends alternative metal, nu metal, rap rock, hard rock and electronic rock. Heavy guitar riffs and programmed beats meet hip-hop-influenced verses, soaring clean hooks and aggressive vocals—a combination that makes Danny Case a natural fit for Silos’ metal-meets-EDM vision.

The band’s current lineup features Matt Brandyberry (vocals), Danny Case (vocals), Lance Dowdle (guitar), Jimmy Bennett (guitar) and Maty Madiro (drums). Their fifth studio album, Reflections, arrived April 17, 2026 through Better Noise Music, continuing the band’s evolution toward a broader, more confident alt-metal sound.

The History Behind “IF I FALL!”

“IF I FALL!” was the first song Silos completed as a band and became the blueprint for the group’s sound. Silos set out to combine the physical impact of electronic festival music with the guitars, drums and emotional immediacy of heavy rock. Bringing in Danny Case connected that vision with From Ashes to New’s established mix of metal, electronics and melodic vocal contrast.

The collaboration places Case alongside Silos frontman Ray Garrison, with the Judge & Jury production team shaping a polished, cinematic track designed for both rock and electronic audiences. It also anchors APOCALIPS, an album built around high-profile collaborations and genre-crossing modern rock.
